The Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens have combined for a surprising trade during the NHL draft.

It was just revealed that the Boston Bruins have traded pick #69 to the Montreal Canadiens for picks #79 and #108.

It’s clear that the Montreal Canadiens have their eyes on a guy that they want to draft with the 69th overall pick in the NHL draft.

This is a smart move by Boston Bruins General Manager Don Sweeney.

Especially if Sweeney was not any particular with a player at the position, as he just earned the Bruins two more picks to acquire more talent.

Stay tuned for more details.
