Controversial Former Canadiens Player Strongly Advised Sidney Crosby Against Playing in Montreal

Player agent David Ettedgui has just revealed some rather surprising and shocking information regarding Sidney Crosby and the Montreal Canadiens.
While speaking more generally about the situation, he said the following:
“As I had exclusively mentioned several years ago on 91.9 Sport/BPM Sports, if it weren’t for a former Canadiens player who strongly advised him not to sign as a free agent with the Canadiens at the time, Crosby might have already been a Hab for some time now.”

– As for the timing of a possible Canadiens trade for Crosby, Ettedgui also believes it would need to wait at least another year. That lines up with numerous sources suggesting that Crosby wants to finish his career alongside Evgeni Malkin.
