Yesterday, Western New Yorkers showed how much “The City of Good Neighbors” really means to them.

During the annual “Give 716 Day” over $1.4 million dollars was raised for local non-profits in Western New York.

Some of the local non-profits impacted by this day of giving were the ECMC Foundation, Junior Achievement Of Western New York, and Cradle Beach.

“Give 716 Day” was created by members of the Buffalo Bills Foundation and the Buffalo Sabres Foundation in order to address the urgent needs of the nonprofit community.

Both foundations provide incentives on the day of giving. This year’s incentives included tickets to games, autographed merchandise, and several “One of A Kind” experiences around Western New York.

This year’s total was over $300,000 more than what was raised in 2024.

As for the Bills and Sabres, things are going to get really busy for both teams. The Sabres just released their schedule for next season (SEE IT HERE) while the Bills are gearing up for a busy training camp.

For the first time ever, the Bills were featured on the HBO show “Hard Knocks”. It takes viewers inside an NFL training camp. Some players and coaches love it, while others think it is a distraction.

The Buffalo Bills are set to kick off training camp on July 23rd. Once again, they will hold camp at St. John Fisher University in Rochester, New York.
