LAS VEGAS — The Los Angeles Clippers take tough loss to one of their conference rivals the Denver Nuggets 82-76. With that loss, the Clippers will have one more game on Sunday against the Memphis Grizzlies, but they won’t be playing for any type of team accolade like a summer league championship.
This was a challenging point because there were five teams that also had undefeated records of 4-0. There would only be four teams allowed to compete for the summer league championship. So not only would the Clippers have to win out, but they had to win by a certain margin and that just would not be the case.
From the start of the game, the Clippers were at a disadvantage with two of their main guys out. Power Forward Kobe Brown who is still recovering from that right ankle injury he suffered on July 9th
