Former Maple Leafs defenseman Conor Timmins has put pen to paper, signing a multi-year contract with a heated rival across the border in the Atlantic Division.
It’s been an up-and-down start to his NHL career for former Maple Leafs defenseman Conor Timmins, who battled injuries early on in his career with the Colorado Avalanche before moving to Arizona and then ultimately being acquired by Toronto during the 2022-23 season.
After spending a short time in Pittsburgh, Timmins was shipped off to the Buffalo Sabres ahead of free agency, and reports have confirmed that Timmins has re-upped in Buffalo on a two-year deal.
Timmins has never played more than 68 games in a single season in his NHL career, but hopefully he is able to remain healthy and find some more consistent playing time with a rebuilding team in Buffalo.
