Maple Leafs Linked to Yet Another Stanley Cup Champion in Florida

As the Maple Leafs continue to search for a top-six forward, a report has surfaced connecting them to another Stanley Cup Champion from the Panthers.

It also includes the likes of two-time Stanley Cup Champion Evan Rodrigues, with Pagnotta noting that the Leafs have shown interest in the 31-year-old. Rodrigues isn’t the top-six forward Leafs Nation is hoping for, and while the Toronto native would add even more depth to the Leafs’ middle and bottom-six, fans don’t want to see another average forward join the fold.

Rodrigues tallied 15 goals and 32 points last season, helping the Florida Panthers to their second consecutive Stanley Cup so he can chip in offensively, but at this point, Leafs Nation is hopeful that Treliving will bring in someone that can contribute more consistently.
