It has been 26 days since Penn State fell to Boston University in the Frozen Four, but Guy Gadowsky and company have been busy in the early offseason. The Nittany Lions picked up two transfers in goalie Kevin Reidler and Hobey Baker Award finalist defenseman Mac Gadowsky (son of Guy) in the early weeks of the transfer portal window. Penn State kept the gravy train rolling with a commitment from OHL forward and Calgary Flames prospect Luke Misa on Monday:

‼️ BREAKING ‼️

The Penn State Nittany Lions have landed a commitment from Luke Misa!

The ‘05 born forward from Ontario had 85 points in 67 GP this season for Brampton (OHL).

In his last two seasons in the OHL, Misa had 166 points in 133 games. He ranked 18th in the league in scoring in the 2024-25 season with 85 points. Misa would join an already loaded Penn State offense that returns 82% of its goal scoring from the Frozen Four team. His vision, passing, and high hockey IQ will make for an excellent fit in Guy Gadowsky’s offense-heavy system.

October 3 cannot get here quickly enough.
