A close call in the Alaskan wilderness for the Seattle Kraken—and their mascot, Buoy the Sea Troll.
The NHL team recently shared a video on social media of their trip to Katmai National Park, where players and staff were fly fishing in the scenic waters.
But the peaceful moment took a turn when a brown bear wandered a little too close for comfort, prompting everyone—mascot included—to quickly exit the water.
Fortunately, no one was hurt, and it made for a memorable moment on the team’s Alaskan adventure.
Let’s hope they had some bear spray close by—just in case.
