The Vancouver Canucks are bringing back a familiar face to fans in an off-ice role beginning next month ahead of the 2025-26 National Hockey League season.

It’s been a busy summer for the Vancouver Canucks both on and off the ice as big changes were needed after a disappointing campaign that saw them miss out on the 2025 Stanley Cup Playoffs.

As the summer rolls along, the Vancouver Canucks aren’t done making additions to the organization and a familiar face is returning to the club and if you’ve attended a game at Rogers Arena, then you’ll know exactly who this is.

In a social media post on Friday, Tyson Geick, a former in-arena host for the Vancouver Canucks, announced that he’s been hired by Canucks Sports & Entertainment as the Director of Content & Social.

“I am beyond excited to share that I’m joining @Canucks Sports & Entertainment as Director of Content & Social.

A full-circle moment-and a privilege to return to a world-class organization in a world-class city. Can’t wait to get started. See you in September, Vancouver.” Geick said.

Geick is set to begin his new role with Canucks Sports & Entertainment next month, just as the club opens up their Rookie Camp and Training Camp.
