The UConn men’s ice hockey team has announced its schedule for the upcoming season. The 34-game slate includes 17 home games, a 24-game Hockey East schedule, and the annual appearance in the CT Ice tournament. UConn will face off against six teams that appeared in last season’s NCAA Tournament.

UConn will host four games at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, beginning with an Oct. 18 showdown against Ohio State. They’ll also take on Stonehill (Nov. 25), UMass-Lowell (Jan. 9) and Boston College (Feb. 21) in downtown Hartford. The remaining 13 home games will be held at Toscano Family Ice Forum on campus.

The Huskies will begin the season out west, as they travel to face Colorado College for a two-game series beginning Oct. 3. They’ll open their home schedule on Oct. 17 at Toscano Family Ice Forum against Ohio State, before facing the Buckeyes in Hartford the following night.

UConn will open Hockey East play on the road against last year’s NCAA Tournament runner-up Boston University on Oct. 24. They’ll face the Terriers in Storrs the following night.

The CT Ice tournament, against in-state foes Quinnipiac, Sacred Heart and Yale, is set to begin Jan. 30 at Ingalls Rink in New Haven.
