Sweden’s crease will feature Emma Söderberg who left the PWHL after two seasons with the Boston Fleet to sign with SDE. She’ll be supported by Ebba Svensson Träff of Linköping.

On the blueline, Toronto Sceptres defender Anna Kjellbin will compete as will NCAA defenders Tuva Kandell, Mira Jungåker, and Ida Karlsson, along with SDHL defenders Annie Silén, Linnéa Andersson, and Emma Forsgren.

Up front, Montreal Victoire forward Lina Ljungblom and Toronto Sceptres draft pick Sara Hjalmarsson will be joined by veterans Hanna Thuvik, Hanna Olsson, Elin Svensson, and Linnea Johansson. NCAA players Josefin Bouveng, Thea Johansson, and Nicole Hall will compete for roster spots, as will young players from the SDHL including Mira Hallin, Ebba Hedqvist, Edit Danielsosn, and Wilma Sundin.

The biggest omission from Sweden’s roster is New York Sirens defender Maja Nylen Persson who has been rehabbing an injury this offseason.
