A former Vancouver Canucks forward has a lot to smile about this summer as he announced some life-changing news on social media this week.
Teams around the National Hockey League have been very busy this summer preparing their rosters for the 2025-26 season and off the ice, players have been equally as busy, enjoying their offseason whether that be by vacationing, spending time with friends & family or even getting married.
This week, another former member of the organization announced his marriage in a post on social media, two months after signing a new NHL contract with the Dallas Stars.
Former Vancouver Canucks forward announces life-changing news
In a post on X on Tuesday, former Vancouver Canucks forward Kole Lind announced that he got married to his long-time partner Paige during a ceremony in July, two years ago after the couple got engaged.
“Best day of my life 🤍” Lind said on social media, accompanied by a few photos from their wedding day.
Lind, a native of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, was a second round pick of the Vancouver Canucks in 2017 and went on to spent parts of four seasons in the organization, including seven games in the NHL.
In the summer of 2021, the National Hockey League was welcoming the Seattle Kraken to the fold, beginning with an Expansion Draft and after being left unprotected, the Canucks’ Pacific Northwest Rivals decided to nab Kole Lind from Vancouver.
Lind’s time with the Kraken organization lasted three seasons, helping their AHL affiliate, the Coachella Valley Firebirds, reach the Calder Cup Final in back-to-back years, where they fell to the Hershey Bears.
After three seasons in Seattle’s organization, Lind became a free agent and went on to sign a one-year deal with the Dallas Stars, where he went on to spent all of last season, registering 52 points in 71 regular season contests before adding 15 points in 15 playoff games.
