Florida Panthers forward Evan Rodrigues visited EPCOT today with The Stanley Cup trophy in tow, following the team’s championship win.
To celebrate their second straight championship, select players, coaches, and staff from the Florida Panthers hockey team are each getting some “personal time” to celebrate with the Cup this summer. According to the Florida Panthers website, the tradition began back in 1995, allowing the Cup to go on all sorts of adventures.
Among the locations the Cup has traveled this summer are Alpharetta, Georgia; St. Louis, Missouri, for a stop at the Children’s Hospital; and even all the way to Helskini, Finland, to visit Olympic Stadium.

The Stanley Cup was displayed today on the bridge between the United Kingdom and France Pavilions. The shiny silver trophy sat on a table covered in a blue table cloth and had several Big Feet Remy Plush characters stacked inside.
