COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Valley News Live) – A former standout with the University of North Dakota is set to be enshrined into the U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame in their 2025 class.
USA Hockey announced on September 3 that Zach Parise will be a part of that class, which will be inducted on December 10 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Parise was a member of the then-Fighting Sioux from 2002 to 2004, finishing his college career with 116 points through 49 goals and 67 assists. He did that all in just 76 games. He helped UND reach two NCAA Tournaments and was a Hobey Baker Award finalist in both of his final two seasons.
Parise recently retired from the NHL, finishing his pro career with 889 points across 1,254 regular season games. The 2003 New Jersey Devils draft pick registered the most points of any UND player in the NHL.
The Minneapolis native will now be enshrined alongside Joe Pavelski and Scott Gomez in this year’s Hockey Hall of Fame class.
