SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Concession prices — at any arena — are famous for breaking the bank.

However, the Delta Center’s prices on some of its “fan-favorite concessions” are going to dip fairly low, according to the teams’ ownership, the Smith Entertainment Group.

SEG announced that popcorn, bottled water, nachos, hot dogs and Farr’s Ice Cream bowls would be dropping to dramatic lows, as far as arena concessions go, with the popcorn and ice creamtaking the most dramatic price dive of them all.

The prices for foods can vary — sometimes widely — depending on the event, but, according to the Delta Center’s food-ordering app, base prices for the selected concession items are as follows:

They are already among the lowest-priced food choices at the Delta Center, which also include pretzels ($6.50), jumbo hot dogs ($8), curly fries ($8) and churros ($4.75).

According to SEG’s statement, those prices are going even lower for Utah’s two professional sports teams.

Food choices are plentiful inside the Delta Center, which includes more than a dozen restaurants and bars in addition to the concession spots.

Concession prices are expected to remain at their base levels for other events, such as concerts, though those prices could be higher or lower, depending on the event, according to the arena’s website.
