The San Jose Sharks have signed Michael Misa to an entry-level contract.

The 2025 NHL Draft No. 2 overall pick has everything in line for a chance to make the Sharks roster this season. The 18-year-old was the consensus best forward prospect at the 2025 Draft.

“Michael is a gifted player and a hard worker who we are excited to bring into our organization,” Sharks GM Mike Grier said in a release. “We are looking forward to his continued development as part of our group.”

Misa and the rest of the San Jose Sharks prospects will skate at the 2025 Golden State Rookie Face-Off this weekend (9/12-9/14). Misa will meet with the media after his on-ice rookie camp group skates.
