Nate Danielson’s first experience playing against bigger, stronger and older men in the AHL was enlightening.

It prompted the Detroit Red Wings’ top pick in 2023 (ninth overall) to spend more time in the gym over the summer. He gained 7-8 pounds and feels stronger and better prepared for his second pro season.
