It was great. Um, you guys are really welcoming, um, so it’s been great, uh, first couple of days. What do you like about this? I mean, I heard there are numerous amount of guys just talk about how good of an organization it was from top down, um, from coaches to the guys, just everybody wholeheartedly was kind of pushing for that end goal and for the same goal, so it’s a pretty easy decision for me. I kind of get away from that white hot spotlight that New York. Yeah. I had it, but I know that’s in the past. I’m looking forward to being here and doing whatever I can to help the team win. What’s it like coming to a team that’s got a chance to win the Stanley Cup? Obviously New York was a good franchise as well, but you’re right back in the mix here in the familiar with the division, familiar with. Some of the opponents obviously teams change here and there a little bit from year to year, but for the most part I think I don’t know a lot of faith in this team. I thought Carolina was always a hard opponent for me playing on the other side. I think with their speed, their skill. Their brains for the game. I think uh kind of had that three headed dragon, the three headed monster, so, um, yeah, really, uh really good franchise and excited to be a part of it. Is there a motivation for you looking at it like, hey, one team let me go and another team saw something. to kind of prove people wrong or show that you can be the guy that people projected. Yeah, I think throughout my 5 years there I had a lot of doubters, had a lot of people voicing their opinion about my game. um, so I think. I’m excited to, you know, use that as fuel like you said, um, I had a tough summer, um, in the gym and, uh, really like, like you said, use that as a motivation and uh just try to do whatever I can to get better for this upcoming season.
