SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — Utah hockey fans can soon get their hands on first official jerseys featuring the Mammoth logo.
Utah Mammoth announced the first-ever jersey with the new identity will be available for purchase on Oct. 2, ahead of the first preseason game at the Delta Center against the Los Angeles Kings.
“We are thrilled that the first Utah Mammoth jerseys will be available on the same day our team is reunited with our fans at Delta Center,” said Utah Mammoth President of Hockey Operations Chris Armstrong.
The new club identity was announced earlier this year following an extensive community-driven search for a permanent team name. The name “Mammoth” came out as the winner after the fan-favorite “Yeti” was removed as an option following a trademark issue.

Utah Mammoth’s primary logo is prominently displayed on the black home jersey on the chest with Utah badges on each of the shoulders. The white away jersey was designed with the familiar “UTAH” staircase design on the front with the Mammoth logo on the shoulders. Both jerseys will have “Est. 2024” stitched into the collar, according to team officials, as a tribute to the club’s first year in the NHL.
“From day one, Utah has deeply embraced this team and helped us select our permanent identity as the Utah Mammoth,” said Armstrong. “We can’t wait to see their pride, passion, and energy return, as well as a mountain of Mammoth jerseys in the stands, this season.”
Utah Mammoth’s first season under its permanent name kicks off on Oct. 9 with an away game against Colorado Avalanche. The first home game of the new season is scheduled to take place on Oct. 15 when the Mammoth welcomes the Calgary Flames.
Preseason games leading into the 2025-26 NHL season started earlier this week, with the Mammoth suffering back-to-back losses against the Avalanche. Utah Mammoth continues their preseason schedule with a game against the Golden Knights at T-Mobile Arena in Nevada.
