Another day of LA Kings prospects playing regular-season games in their respective leagues has passed. Unlike Thursday, when the Kings had two prospects in action, five were in action throughout the day on Friday.

Here is a recap:

Vojtěch Čihař

Vojtěch Čihař was drafted in the second round by LA this past summer. The speedy forward was held off the scoresheet while logging 11:59 of ice time for HC Energie Karlovy Vary in their 2-1 loss to Bili Tygři Liberec. Čihař, 18, has two points (1 G, 1 A) in eight games in Czechia’s top league.

📋 Na Bílé Tygry jdeme v této sestavě! 🔥 Extraligový debut čeká Jakuba Minárika, Matteo Kočí zůstává ve třetím obranném páru, defenzivní sedmičkou bude Adam Rulík. ✊

Jan Chovan

It was the second night of a back-to-back and another tough night at the office for the Sudbury Wolves. After getting shut out in their previous game, the Wolves followed that performance up with a 6-1 beatdown at the hands of the Sarnia Sting.

Jan Chovan, a sixth-round pick this past summer, didn’t tally a point but recorded four shots on goal and won two out of three faceoffs. It was his second game back in the OHL after being assigned to Sudbury by the Kings on Monday.

Henry Brzustewicz & Jared Woolley

The London Knights (OHL) received a pair of defensemen a day before Friday night’s game. After having a solid camp with the Kings, Henry Brzustewicz and Jared Woolley were inserted into the London lineup as their first defensive pair a day after being loaned back.

Woolley scored the Knights’ lone goal on the power play with time expiring on the man advantage in the opening period, and also received a boarding penalty in the second period. As for Brzustewicz, he didn’t record a point or shot on goal. He did, however, quarterback London’s first power-play unit.

Henry Brzustewicz (#GoKingsGo), Linus Funck (#GoAvsGo), Aleksei Medvedev (#Canucks), Sam O’Reilly (#GoBolts), and Noah Read (#FlyTogether), and Jared Woolley (#GoKingsGo) will make their season debuts tonight vs BRAM.

Petteri Rimpinen

Petteri Rimpinen stopped 18 of 20 shots to earn his fourth victory in six starts for Kiekko-Espoo. It wasn’t a busy game for Rimpinen, but he continues to stop pucks. In six games, he has a 2.17 goals-against average and a .910 save percentage. Goaltending is at a premium in the Kings’ pipeline.
