The Stars picked up their third win of the preseason, 5-2 over the Wild on Thursday. They got goals from Marvik Bourque, Vladislav Kolyachonok, Justin Hryckowian, and two from Wyatt Johnston. Casey DeSmith played the whole game, stopping 18 of the 20 shots he faced.

The Avalanche picked up their second win of the preseason last Sunday with a 3-2 win over the Utah Mammoth. They got goals from Martin Necas, Brock Nelson, and Artturi Lehkonen. Trent Miner got the start, stopping 19 of the 20 shots he faced, while Kyle Keyser stopped four of the five shots he faced.
