“I feel my time is something that’s valuable. I enjoy coming to the rink, staying late at the rink, but more just staying a complete person away from the rink as well. Because if you’re just playing video games all day, you’re not going to play as well on the ice probably.
Really just trying to keep plugging away. A bunch of my teammates and I now have little inside challenges of who’s going to finish first, all taking similar classes. For me, that’s something that’s bigger than hockey, something for my family and myself to have for the rest of my life.”
