One of Nashville’s most beautiful people isn’t in Nashville.

Predators forward Luke “Pretty Boy Vincenzo” Evangelista is featured on the cover of Nashville Lifestyles Magazine’s “Most Beautiful People” edition, though the 23-year-old restricted free agent has not reported to training camp and has returned home to Canada while he and the team try to negotiate a contract extension.

Players not under contract are not allowed to participate in on-ice activities during camp, meaning until a deal is agreed upon, Evangelista will not practice.

The Predators gave Evangelista a qualifying offer during the summer, which permitted the two sided to continue negotiations.

The Predators begin the 2025-26 season at 3 p.m. on Oct. 4 at home against the Carolina Hurricanes.

“I think we’re in that sort of daily process,” Predators general manager Barry Trotz told reporters at Ford Ice Center Bellevue on Sept. 18. “We love Luke, so we are just working through that and see if we can get him (under contract).”

When did the Predators draft Luke Evangelista?

Evangelista, a second-round pick of the Predators’ in the 2020 NHL Draft, has 33 goals and 53 assists in 172 games spanning three seasons with the team. He had 10 goals and 22 assists in 68 games last season.

Beauty runs in Luke Evangelista’s family

His second cousin, Linda Evangelista, has appeared on more than 700 magazine covers and is considered one of the most influential supermodels of all time.

Another second cousin, Brendan Shanahan, is in the Hockey Hall of Fame who, until this summer, was the general manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Who else is on Nashville Lifestyle’s list of 25 most beautiful people?

The magazine will publish reveals online and on social media, along with video from the photo shoot.

According to the magazine some of the honorees attended a celebration honoring those individuals on Sept. 25 at V Modern Italian in The Gulch. They included Titans offensive lineman JC Latham, Miss Tennessee Zoe Schneiderich, comedian John Crist, actor Sam Brooks and songwriter Cyndi Thompson.
