Rockford, IL – The Chicago Blackhawks today announced the following transactions:

The IceHogs Training Camp roster grows to 37 players (10 defensemen, 22 forwards, and five goalies). Players will be added to the Rockford training camp roster during the remainder of the Chicago Blackhawks’ preseason schedule.

This batch of players assigned includes goaltender Drew Commesso who readies for his third season in a Rockford uniform. Last spring, the 23-year-old had a fantastic finish to his sophomore season, earning a .930 save percentage in his last 22 games.

Also included in the transactions is forward Nick Lardis, a third-round draft selection of the Blackhawks in 2023. The winger is set to begin his first pro season, following a year in the OHL where he recorded 71 goals.
