LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation has donated $1 million to the Vegas Strong Fund to support the construction of the Forever One Memorial, a tribute to the victims and survivors of the 1 October tragedy.

The donation, presented at City National Arena, marks the first major private contribution to the project, which aims to be completed by the tenth remembrance in 2027.

Jan Jones Blackhurst, chairperson of the Vegas Strong Fund Board of Directors, expressed gratitude for the Knights’ ongoing support, saying, “This generous gift continues that legacy of compassion and strength, ensuring the Forever One Memorial will stand as a permanent tribute to the lives we lost and the resilience of all who were forever changed.”
