The Tucson Roadrunners are the AHL affiliate of the Utah Mammoth, previously known as the Utah Hockey Club before this season.

The roster’s latest prospects and up-and-comers are primed to fight amongst the AHL’s most competitive and largest division: the Pacific.

The team serves as a hotbed for the latest and greatest talent in Utah’s system as the coaching and development staff shape the future of the NHL’s best players. They not only serve the youngest talent but also more experienced players developing their game for the national level.

One example is forward Cameron Hebig who signed a two-way, two-year contract with the Mammoth for $812,500 per year earlier this year. The “Mayor of Tucson” put up 47 points in 67 games and ranked second in total scoring on the Roadrunners last season.

Head coach Steve Potvin moved into the lead role in 2022 after spending half a decade as the assistant coach. The Roadrunners will be aiming for a further run than their first round departure from the 2025 Calder Cup Playoffs against the eventual champion Abbotsford Canucks.
