The San Jose Sharks play their second straight game on the road on Saturday night when they play the Utah Mammoth. The Sharks snapped a three-game losing streak on Friday night when they beat the Vegas Golden Knights 4-1. The win pushed their record to 2-3 on the preseason and was their second win against the Golden Knights. Ethan Cardwell recorded a hat trick in the win. He scored the first goal of the game in the first period and then scored twice in the third period to lift the Sharks to the win. Saturday is the last preseason game for the Sharks. They will open their regular season on Thursday against the Golden Knights and will play their first three games at home.
