After stumbling out of the gate in Round 2, the Florida Panthers are looking to get back into the series on home ice on Friday night when they host the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Maple Leafs came out with a spirited effort in Game 1, leading to a win and striking first in the best-of-seven series. The Panthers came out with a much better effort in Game 2 on Wednesday night, scoring the opening goal in the first period. However, with the home crowd behind them, Toronto failed to panic, settling into the game and using a third-period from Mitch Marner to catapult the Leafs to a 4-3 win, giving them a 2-0 lead in the Atlantic Division Final.

A lot of credit has to go to Leafs goaltender Joseph Woll. After getting thrown into action under strange circumstances in the series opener, he played confidently behind his team, making 25 saves in the win, including a couple of 10-bell stops in the third.
Now, the Panthers, who split their two home games in Round 1, have to try and claw their back into the series in Sunrise.
