Carlsson (lower body) was placed on the injured non-roster list, San Jose announced Tuesday.
Carlsson didn’t see any action during the exhibition schedule after undergoing offseason surgery. It’s unclear when he will be available to return to the lineup, but once he’s healthy, he will probably spend most of the 2025-26 campaign in the minors.
