We’ve just received an important announcement within the Montreal Canadiens organization.

Well, it’s official.. It’s now over for him within the Canadiens organization!

Kevin Mandolese has just been released by the Montreal Canadiens organization

This has been confirmed by the Laval Rocket!

“Goaltender Kevin Mandolese was released from the Rocket training camp.”

We still want to wish him the very best moving forward, as he didn’t have a bad training camp in Montreal.

Yesterday afternoon, we received confirmation that Kahkonen was not claimed off NHL waivers, which meant Mandolese no longer really had a place here.

Kevin Mandolese, 25, is a Quebec goaltender from Blainville, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

He was a sixth-round pick by the Ottawa Senators in 2018 (157th overall) and has three NHL games of experience.

In his NHL career, he has a record of 1-2-0, with a goals-against average of 3.30 and a solid save percentage of .916.

In the AHL last season, with the Colorado Avalanche’s affiliate, he posted an 11-6-0 record, with a goals-against average of 2.87 and a save percentage of .903.

He should find a new position elsewhere!
