LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Vegas Golden Knights officially return to the ice Wednesday night as they open the 2025-26 season at home against a division rival.
Vegas will take on the Los Angeles Kings at T-Mobile Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Before the game, the Golden Knights will host their “Opening Knight” fan experience at Toshiba Plaza starting at 3:30 p.m.
Fans are encouraged to arrive by 3 p.m. to welcome players, coaches, broadcasters, members of the VGK cast, and other celebrities as they walk the gold carpet.
The VGK Insider Show with Daren Millard and Ryan Wallis will broadcast live from the plaza starting at 4 p.m. as well.
Flyover in Las Vegas recently announced that fans who purchase one flight ride can score free parking on home game days.
At home games, fans can now score $5.50 local food deals on nachos, hot dogs, pretzels, water, and soda.
Every fan will also get a limited edition collectible Mitch Marner player pin to celebrate the arrival of the newest star player. Vegas acquired Marner from Toronto in the offseason after he posted a 100-point season for the Maple Leafs.
Doors for T-Mobile Arena open at 5:30 p.m. Fans are asked to be in their seats by 7 p.m. to enjoy the Golden Knights’ newest pregame show.
Vegas has won the last six season-openers dating back to 2019. A win on Wednesday would make the Golden Knights the 10th team in NHL history to record at least seven straight opening night wins.
They’ll also look to reverse last season’s 1-3 record against Los Angeles.
