Jack Roslovic: After reportedly rejecting a deal from Edmonton in July, Jack Roslovic is finally on his way to an NHL roster. The Oilers signed him to a one year, $1.5 million deal.

Vegas Hockey Now: It was a good day for Jack’s on Wednesday. Eichel signed a whopper of a max-term deal, which will make him the third-richest man in the league starting next season.

Detroit Hockey Now: It’s a new era for the Red Wings. They have three rookies debuting tonight, and two of their other young core pieces will both be wearing alternate captain letters.

San Jose Hockey Now: The Sharks won’t have a captain this season. But Macklin Celebrini is still joining the leadership group.
