The Nashville Predators host the Utah Mammoth at Bridgestone Arena on Oct. 11 (7 p.m., FanDuel Sports Network) looking to start 2-0 for the first time since 2022.
The Predators beat the Columbus Blue Jackets 2-1 in the season opener on Oct. 9, led by a third period, go-ahead goal from Ryan O’Reilly. Nashville (1-0-0, 2 points) was out-shot by Columbus, but Juuse Saros was stellar in net, making 38 saves.
Coach Andrew Brunette confirmed at morning skate that Luke Evangelista would make his season debut against Utah, replacing winger Joakim Kemell. Evangelista signed a two-year, $6 million deal on Oct. 5, ending a long running stalemate over the summer.
Other than inserting Evangelista, the Predators will deploy the same lineup against the Mammoth that got them the win over the Blue Jackets.

Filip Forsberg – Brady Martin – Ryan O’Reilly
Steven Stamkos – Fedor Svechkov – Luke Evangelista
