With only 1:03 left in the second, Morgan Barron poked the puck free while the Jets were killing a penalty and fed Scheifele, whose deft backhand tipped off Anderson and past Darcy Kuemper to tie the game. Then, at 11:47 of the third, Scheifele deflected a Josh Morrissey point shot past Kuemper to give Winnipeg the lead for good.

Los Angeles pulled Kuemper late in a bid to tie the game while on the power play but couldn’t break through Hellebuyck’s resistance. Reuters+1 The Kings were 0-for-5 on the power play; the Jets went 1-for-4.
