The Montreal Canadiens locked up reigning Calder Trophy winner Lane Hutson, agreeing to an eight-year, $70.8 million extension that carries a cap hit of $8.85 million, the team announced on Monday.
Hutson led all rookies in scoring last season, recording six goals and 66 points in 82 games while averaging 22:44 of ice time. He has one assist in three games this season
