Brandon Bussi Set to Make NHL Debut Tonight for Carolina Hurricanes

Stephanie Travers – Inside The Rink

Tonight, the Carolina Hurricanes will take on the San Jose Sharks in San Jose. Hurricanes head coach Rod Brind’Amour named Brandon Bussi the starting goalie for tonight’s game. It’ll be Bussi’s first career start as Frederik Andersen started the first two games of the season for Carolina. Bussi signed as a free agent on July 1st by the Florida Panthers on a one-year, two-way contract. On October 5th, he was claimed off waivers by the Carolina Hurricanes and put on the roster as the backup goalie due to Pyotr Kochetkov being injured.
