Young Ivan Demidov not only scored an important goal on Tuesday night, he also gained even more love from Montreal Canadiens fans.

At only 19 years old, Demidov already shows impressive maturity and genuine respect for the Tricolore fans. That is priceless for CH supporters!
This gesture, simple as it was, was enough to melt the Montreal crowd.
I must say, this is the kind of attention that shows he already understands what hockey represents in Montreal.
He could have simply answered in English, like many players do, but no-he chose to make an effort to speak our language, and that is something fans will not forget.
And if he continues to score spectacular goals while speaking French, let’s just say Montreal is likely to fall in love for good.
