Get ready to lose some sleep tonight again, it’s gameday.

The road trip continues tonight where the Carolina Hurricanes travel to take on the Los Angeles Kings at 9 PM. Similar to last game, if you are in the Carolina area, you can catch the game on FanDuel Sports Network with pregame starting around 30 minutes prior to puck-drop.

For a team that sits atop the NHL as the last remaining undefeated team, don’t expect any drastic lineup changes tonight. As for goalie, Brandon Bussi could get the nod in goal tonight, but the Canes may stick with Frederik Andersen after his stellar performance against the Ducks. Anderson stopped 23 of the 24 shots he faced in Thursday’s 4-1 win.

This season, Anderson has posted a 2.27 GAA and .899 save percentage while Bussi allowed one goal on 17 shots in his lone start versus the Sharks in the first game of the road trip.

As for the Kings, goaltender Darcy Kuemper is still nursing an injury, so look for Anton Forsberg to get his second-straight start. Forsberg allowed three goals on 25 shots in Thursday’s loss against the Penguins.

Continuing with the injury news for the Kings, they will be without captain Anze Kopitar for the second straight game due to injury. Kopitar got off to a quick start in the team’s first four games, putting up a point-per-game. Without him in the lineup, look for Phillip Danault to step up.

Tonight should be a little more of a test than the previous two games that began the six-game cross-country trip.
