The Vancouver Canucks have caught the injury bug just as it seemed they were getting rolling, Brock Boeser, Johnathan Lekkerimaki, Filip Chytil and Teddy Blueger have all been sidelined with injuries, some more serious than others.
The Vancouver Canucks play the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night, and the statuses of these players remains unknown.

Iain MacIntyre gave us an update on the injured guys, most of it is not too positive, with the possibility of some good news.
Per Canucks GM Patrik Allvin, Teddy Blueger is “doubtful” to play Tue in PGH but the return from leave of Brock Boeser is a “possibility.” Injured Filip Chytil and Jonathan Lekkerimaki flew back to Vancouver today with medical staff for further examination.
Fortunately for the Canucks, there is a chance Brock Boeser gets slotted back into the lineup. It would be a much needed boost on offence, as the Canucks appear to have the same issues as last year scoring goals.
But there is more bad news than good, Filip Chytil is by far the most concerning, as he was at the wrong end of a Tom Wilson hit when the Canucks defeated the Capitals. Chytil has suffered several head injuries, and it could end up costing him his career, if it continues, he has flown back to Vancouver to undergo some more tests, but the hit did not look good.
The Canucks were gaining a lot of momentum prior to these injuries, they started the season off to a slow start, but after three wins in a row, they find themselves with a 4-2 record, heading to Pittsburgh to continues the streak. This is where their depth will really get tested, as a lot of criticism was already being targeted at the Canucks top six forwards. Boeser’s return is almost a necessity if the Canucks want to continue their solid play.
