The Jets want you to believe that Hellebuyck is back, but he faced just 3 high-danger chances at 5-on-5 in Game 2. He stopped all of them, but really it was the defensive structure in front of him that the Jets have had at home in the playoffs that mattered. Hellebuyck has been terrible on the road, getting pulled in all 3 road games against the St. Louis Blues. He’s 0-3 with a .758 SV% on the road in this postseason.

Oettinger was so-so in Game 2, stopping 21 of 24, but his team put him into the fire 17 seconds in. He was 9-for-11 and stopped 1 of 2 high-danger chances at 5-on-5. Oettinger has stopped 50 of 55 shots in the series for a .909 SV%.

Game 2 was an aberration for me, and I fully look for the Stars to get back on the offensive early in Game 3. I don’t love the price, but this should give you confidence in the STARS (-145).

I’m staying away from the PL here as it’s just too risky in the playoffs when the heat is on.

Instead, I’m going with ROOPE HINTZ OVER 0.5 POINTS (-145). He has been invisible for 3 straight games with just 4 shots and an assist during the stretch. In Games 5-6 against the Colorado Avalanche, he had 3 goals and 3 assists. I look for that kind of assertiveness at home.

The Under has cashed in 10 straight meetings between the teams, but this one feels like a tossup. The -110 price each way confirms that sentiment. Dallas is 2-1-0 O/U at home this postseason, and Winnipeg has cashed 3 Overs on the road.

Give me the OVER 5.5 (-110).
