Vancouver Canucks forward Brock Boeser is not back with the team just yet, as they get set to face Arturs Silovs & the Pittsburgh Penguins on Tuesday night.

“General Manager Patrick Allvin announced today that F Brock Boeser will not play today due to personal reasons.” the Canucks said on Sunday.

Brock Boeser not at Tuesday’s morning skate, unlikely to play vs Pittsburgh Penguins

Despite Patrik Allvin saying yesterday that Brock Boeser was a possibility for tonight’s game, it doesn’t look like he’ll be suiting up, as Dan Murphy of Sportsnet said on social media that the Burnsville, Minnesota native was not on the ice for the team’s morning skate ahead of tonight’s game in Pittsburgh.

“Willander, Aman and Labate all present for #canucks morning skate. No Boeser or Blueger.” Murphy said on X.

These are the games where you need your big stars to show up, including Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes, but they’re also going to need contributions from those who have just been called up from the AHL and are looking to prove they belong in the NHL on a full-time basis.

Everyone here at Canucks Daily is thinking about Brock Boeser at this time and hope himself, as well as his family, are doing well.
