SALT LAKE CITY – WWE superstar Drew McIntyre was in the house for the Utah Mammoth on Tuesday night, and took the chance to rudely greet an Avalanche fan during a timeout.

The Mammoth is hosting the Colorado Avalanche at Delta Center on Tuesday, October 21, in a battle of the Rockies.

Donning a Mammoth title belt, The Scottish Warrior grabbed a microphone and asked the crowd if anybody would like to earn the belt.

New Mammoth mascot ‘Tusky’ then came flying into the frame with a dropkick on an Avalanche fan. McIntyre then awarded the belt to Tusky.

WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown will be held at Delta Center on Friday, October 31.

The Utah Mammoth responded well after falling behind 1-0 in the first period of play Tuesday night. The club emerged from the locker room and played with renewed energy.

Nick Schmaltz scored his fourth goal of the year to tie the game 1-1. Minutes later, Lawson Crouse’s first goal of the season ignited the home crowd.

Karel Vejmelka has been terrific in goal, stopping shot after shot, including stoning Nathan MacKinnon on a pair of breakaway chances.
