The Montreal Canadiens are getting ready to face the Calgary Flames tomorrow night, but Martin St-Louis still hasn’t made a decision on one very important question:

Who will be in net for the Habs?

According to journalist Priyanta Emrith, the Canadiens’ head coach confirmed that he has not yet chosen his starting goaltender for Wednesday night’s game in Calgary.

And let’s just say – it won’t be an easy choice…

For once, I really think it’s a 50-50. I honestly have no idea what St-Louis is going to do… or even what he should do!

Jakub Dobes has been shining since the start of the season. The 24-year-old Czech netminder has three wins in as many starts, with a 1.63 goals-against average and a .938 save percentage.

His strong performances have quickly made him the fan favorite in Montreal – and with good reason!

That’s far from ideal numbers for your number-one goalie…

I really think that puts Martin St-Louis in a very uncomfortable position. On one hand, he wants to keep developing his young prospect. On the other, he has to protect his number-one goalie’s confidence.

But one thing’s for sure: no matter who St-Louis chooses in Calgary, the pressure will be enormous for the starting goalie position within the Habs.
