Vancouver Canucks Head Coach Adam Foote gave an update post-game on Tuesday night on when forward Brock Boeser may return from his personal leave.Despite last night’s loss against Arturs Silovs and the Pittsburgh Penguins, the Vancouver Canucks are in high spirits with how their road trip has gone thus far, as the club has a 3-1-0 record and will look to cap things off with a win tomorrow night in The Music City. For the last two games, the Vancouver Canucks have been without one of their top forwards – Brock Boeser, who took a leave of absence ahead of Sunday’s contest in Washington and despite there being some hope that he could’ve returned last night in Pittsburgh, the Burnsville, Minnesota native was not at the morning skate, putting an end to the possibility of him playing against the Penguins.

“Willander, Aman and Labate all present for #canucks morning skate. No Boeser or Blueger.” Dan Murphy of Sportsnet said on X.

Adam Foote gives update on when Brock Boeser could return to Vancouver Canucks

Following last night’s loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins, Adam Foote met with reporters where he gave an update on Brock Boeser and when fans could potentially see him back in the lineup.

Foote said that the team is hoping that Boeser be able to return to the lineup for the finale of their five-game road trip in Nashville on Thursday, adding that he’s heard there’s a good chance he will play.

“I hope so. I heard there’s a good chance we could.” Foote said when asked if Boeser will suit up against the Nashville Predators.

Boeser, 28, had been off to a strong start to the 2025-26 season before leaving the club for personal reasons, registering three goals and was a minus-one in five games.

Whenever Boeser returns to the lineup, whether it’s tomorrow night in Nashville, Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens or Sunday against the Edmonton Oilers, it’s going to be a massive boost offensively for a Canucks team that is dealing with a number of injury issues right now among their forward group.
