After several days of complete radio silence, the Montreal Canadiens finally provided an update on forward Patrik Laine yesterday.
In the past few hours, we’ve learned that Laine has requested a second opinion.
No, that’s not a good sign at all.
That’s exactly what Laine did last year after suffering his devastating knee injury…
It also means that the first diagnosis clearly didn’t sit well with him.
A rumor suggests that Patrik Laine may have re-injured his knee
That would be incredibly sad and unfortunate for Laine – especially in a contract year!
If he has indeed re-injured his knee and ends up missing significant time, it would be terrible news for the rest of his career, particularly as he hopes to earn a solid new contract next summer.
