We are still in an early period in the season, but there are already reports suggesting that Philadelphia is considering making some additions to its roster.

San Jose Sharks defenseman Mario Ferraro (38) and defenseman Timothy Liljegren (37) collide into Calgary Flames center Morgan Frost (16) during the first period at SAP Center at San Jose.

“Philadelphia Flyers GM Danny Briere has some salary cap room to work with, and after making some additions upfront, he’s looking to improve their blue line,” explained the cited outlet.
“It’s believed that the Flyers are looking for a top-four defenseman in his mid-20s who fits in with their core,” they added.
The same report indicated that Philadelphia could even get rid of some of its players with draft picks to seek to close a deal. General Manager Danny Briere would be willing to let go of defenseman Emil Andrae.

“They could look to package one of their forwards, along with draft picks and/or prospect(s). The Flyers could be okay with moving 2020 second-round pick, defenseman Emil Andrae.”
Although for the moment there are no certain reports about which players could be targeted by Philadelphia, the cited outlet indicated that two viable options are Mario Ferraro and Timothy Liljegren, from the San Jose Sharks.
“The San Jose Sharks are believed to be willing to trade defensemen Mario Ferraro and Timothy Liljegren, both of whom are pending UFAs,” they added.
