Another week has passed, and it’s time for another LA Kings‘ weekly prospect update. There were plenty of prospects who had a good week, but one who stood out was forward Jimmy Lombardi. Lombardi recorded five points (4 G, 1 A), including his first goal of the season, in three games for the Flint Firebirds (OHL). He also went 35/70 (50%) in the faceoff circle.
Lombardi, drafted in the fourth round by the Kings in the most recent draft, has quietly put together a seven-game point streak, recording 11 points (4 G, 7 A) in that span. He has assumed the role of Flint’s number-one center and has done well in that role. He’s slated to transition to the NCAA and play for the University of Michigan next season.
