The St. Louis Blues have recalled forward Dalibor Dvorsky from their American Hockey League affiliate, the Springfield Thunderbirds, the team announced Wednesday.
The 20-year-old Slovakian has dressed in six games for Springfield this season, leading the team with three goals and sharing the lead with five points. Dvorsky was originally drafted 10th overall by the Blues in the first round of the 2023 NHL Draft.
During his rookie AHL season in 2024-25, Dvorsky finished third on Springfield with 45 points, including 21 goals and 24 assists. He represented the Thunderbirds at the 2025 AHL All-Star Game and earned a selection to the league’s Top Prospects Team.
Dvorsky, a native of Zvolen, Slovakia, is known for his scoring touch and playmaking ability. In Springfield, he has demonstrated an ability to create offense in all areas of the ice, a skill set that helped him quickly rise among the team’s top contributors.
Blues head coach Jim Montgomery confirmed that Dvorsky will be in the lineup for Thursday’s game and will see time on the power play. His inclusion gives St. Louis added depth up front and an extra offensive option in special teams situations.
Dvorsky’s transition to the NHL will be closely watched by fans and analysts alike. After a strong start to his professional career in the AHL, the young forward now has the opportunity to contribute at the highest level and continue his development with the Blues.
