The New York Islanders visit Raleigh to take on the Carolina Hurricanes tonight at the Lenovo Center.
Rod Brind’Amour confirmed that Brandon Bussi will get the start for Carolina. The goalie is 2-1-0 in three starts for the Canes with a save percentage of .911 and a GAA of 2.33.
Andrew Gross is reporting that Matt Barzal will be held out of the game tonight.
David Rittich will be in net for the Isles. He is 2-0-0 with a .940 save percentage and a GAA of 2.01 so far this season.
TV: ESPN+ and Hulu were scheduled to have this broadcast, hence the later start time. But I am told this has been changed to FanDuel Sports Network. The team preview still lists ESPN+ and Hulu. (Why can’t this be easier?)
Streaming: The FanDuel Sports Network will be streaming within the local area. Mike Maniscalco will handle play-by-play alongside Tripp Tracy doing color.
Radio: The pregame on 99.9 The Fan starts at 6:30 with Adam Gold. At 7:00 the Hurricanes Radio Network (consisting of 99.9, 730 The Game in Charlotte, ESPN New Bern 107.5/1490, and ESPN Greenville 107.5/1570) picks up the FDSN feed. You can also stream the call on the Hurricanes app.
Odds: Hurricanes -220 Moneyline, Puckline Hurricanes -1.5 +114. Islanders +180, Puckline +1.5 -140, O/U 6.5 -120/-102
