In my opinion, it’s a well-deserved tribute for number 13 of the Tricolore, who has literally carried the team offensively on several occasions over the past few weeks.
In just 11 games, Caufield has recorded nine goals and four assists, for a total of 13 points.
What impressed me the most: he was also named first star of the game three times, second star once, and third star once.

What helps tremendously is his natural chemistry with Nick Suzuki and Juraj Slafkovsky. I truly believe this is one of the best top lines in the league.
In my view, Caufield is proving that he’s not only an elite goal scorer but also a more complete player.
I’m sure the Bell Centre crowd will give him a well-deserved ovation tonight as he officially receives the Molson Cup before puck drop.
